Best Places to Watch Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

Sharing is caring!

Looking for the best place to watch Fireworks at Magic Kingdom? Then this guide has it all including the pros and cons of each position.

The fireworks start when it is dark, so 8pm during Fall and Winter and at 9pm during Spring and Summer and the music from the fireworks is played around the whole of the Magic Kingdom park, so you can soak up the atmosphere wherever you are.

Places to Watch Magic Kingdom Fireworks

Main Street and Cinderella’s Castle

If you want to get the full show or it’s your first time watching, we advise getting to one of the best spots in the park – either at Main Street, U.S.A or the area immediately in front of Cinderella’s Castle (the hub) as early as you can for the full experience.

Crowds start to build up from about an hour before the show begins, so a prime position will require some patience! Places in front of fixed structures like trash cans, and planters will offer you a little bit of space without people completely surrounding you.

With little kids, this can be super crowded and they may not get the best view. However, if crowds are not your thing, or hanging around waiting for a spot, here are some other suggestions too!

By Casey’s Corner

Pros: Sit next to the trash can by the lightpole. The road will be taped off right in front of you so you will have no heads in your photos! This can be a great spot if visiting Magic Kingdom with a toddler, as they can also enjoy the view!

Cons: You will need to get there early and stake your spot!

Fireworks Dessert Party

The Fireworks Dessert Party books up in advance, so be ready on that 60 days mark! Either book to sit at the Tomorrowland Terrace or a reserved standing spot in the Plaza Gardens (Hub Grass)
