We firmly believe in transparency on the web and would like to disclose that we’ve included certain recommended products, tours, hotels, and various travel-related links on this site that will earn an affiliate commission from for any purchases or bookings you make at no extra cost to you.

The aim of this site is to provide you with invaluable content which helps you plan your next family trip with practical insider tips and knowledge to Orlando.

This Orlando family travel site now makes money via advertising, affiliate links and the occasional sponsored post IF it is highly useful for our readers. We are very particular about what products I recommend and I am very aware that readers trust my opinion or recommendations and often make comments on the site highlighting this. Losing trust, would mean losing our entire business, so that’s why we would not compromise our opinion or include something we did not believe in.

ASA (the UK Advertising Standards Agency, says that currently (2021) that any items whether they have been gifted, gifted and a fee provided or a fee has provided for must be declared clearly and prominently on social media platforms  eg Instagram, facebook, Twitter etc. We make every effort to do so and to follow the FTC in the USA.

We often go further and declare posts as AD’s when it may not be your interpretation of an Ad, to err on the side of caution so you are aware that a transaction has taken place, whether it is in exchange for a product, stay, experience or payment. . For example, if a writer goes on a press trip to review a place in exchange for a stay (exactly like mainstream newspapers and magazines do) I will declare this as Ad- Press Trip so you are aware. If payment has been made, we will declare this too.

Below is some further information on some of the affiliate programs.

Visiting Orlando With Kids is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. Some posts do contain affiliate links to here. This is explained on those posts too. In plain English, this means that we may receive a small commission (at no extra cost to you) if you subscribe or purchase something through the links provided. Most of the Amazon links are from products we have used bought and used personally, or that Visiting Orlando With Kids readers recommend.

It is likely that all hotel links on this site are affiliate links meaning this site earns a small fee when you book a hotel. (There is never any extra cost to you for using these links).
