We have stayed in numerous Orlando hotels and our latest family trip was a stay at the Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek. At first glance the 2 lazy rivers, and a 2 bed fully furnished apartment with washer/dryer were a huge appeal to our family of four.

Amenities for Families at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek

This resort is packed with luxurious amenities and services, promising you a fantastic staycation. In fact, they have so much to offer that you might find yourself having an absolute blast right here on the property and not even wanting to venture out to the parks!

But, when you’re ready for some park excitement, just board one of the resort’s complimentary shuttles to and from Walt Disney World. No need to worry about transport; these shuttles make your Disney adventures easy and ensure you return comfortably.

And when you’d rather unwind indoors, their spacious suites are a real treat. You’ll find fully equipped kitchens for homey meals, in-suite laundry to keep things convenient, and separate living and dining spaces, all adding up to a cozy, relaxed family getaway. We liked that a single wash powder detergent was provided so we could wash our travelling clothes immediately for the return journey.

Kitchens have a beverage pack with powder creamer, coffee and sugar. There is a full size fridge with freezer compartment, a microwave, oven with hob and a dishwasher.

At Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, we enjoyed the fantastic pools with two lazy rivers, water slides, and cool poolside bars. Parents can relax, and the kids can have a great time under the Florida sun. There’s even a pirate ship-themed pool with a slide.

For mini-golf fans, there’s a fun and family-friendly course right on-site. It’s a fun way for the family to hang out and kids to learn golf basics. There’s also a fitness center and basketball and tennis courts for some active fun.

The game room is packed with video games and classics, perfect for kids to have a blast. Little ones can run wild on the playgrounds, climbing, swinging, and playing outdoors. Plenty of chances for active play and friendly family competition!

The resort has a kids’ club where children can join in supervised activities, arts and crafts, games, and more. We didn’t have time to check this out but noted there was plenty to do.

There are also tons of planned family-friendly events, from poolside movie nights to karaoke and dance parties. At Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, there’s always something fun going on!

Getting to Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek

Airport Transportation:

Most families fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO), around 20 miles from Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek. It’s a busy airport with both domestic and international flights.

Once you touch down at Orlando International Airport, you’ve got choices aplenty for reaching the resort. Rental cars offer flexibility and privacy. If you’re not keen on driving, ride-sharing services and airport shuttles are right there at the airport.

Shared shuttles are budget-friendly, or you can go for a private shuttle. Families with more members can pick spacious town cars or SUVs for a comfy ride.

You can book these services at the airport or call an Uber or Lyft for a quick and private trip to the hotel.

Public Transport:

If you’re feeling adventurous and don’t mind navigating with kids and luggage, public transport is an option. However, it might be a bit tricky. Your journey starts by reaching the Lynx Central Station from Orlando International Airport.

It’s the heart of Orlando’s public transportation network, and you can get there with Lynx Buses 11, 42, or 111. The station is at 455 N Garland Ave, Orlando, FL 32801.

From there, hop on Lynx Bus 50, aka the “Disney Springs Direct” route, which will take you to Disney Springs. Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek is close by, and you can either walk or use the resort’s shuttle service to reach it from Disney Springs.

Once you’re at Disney Springs, you can enjoy a leisurely 1.5-mile stroll to Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek if you prefer. Or, inquire about the resort’s shuttle service, which might provide rides to and from Disney Springs.

Driving There:

If you’re bringing your own wheels or a rental car, Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek has free parking for guests. It’s convenient for those who want to come and go as they please.

Set your GPS to 9560 Via Encinas, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830, and follow the directions for the most convenient route based on your travel time and traffic.

Choosing where to stay at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek is all about finding what suits your crew best. Whether you prioritize space, privacy, pool access, or proximity to dining options, the resort’s versatile accommodations cater to a wide range of guests

You’ve got spacious suites, ranging from one to four bedrooms, perfect for families or larger groups. These suites are like a home away from home, with fully equipped kitchens and separate and roomy living and dining areas.

We opted for a two bed which had views of the car park with its private balcony and could see distant Disney fireworks. Others offer lovely views of the resort’s surroundings, including the scenic lake, pools, and some also have distant views of Disney’s fireworks.

Another great option is the villa-style accommodations, especially popular with families. These villas come with all the amenities you need, including fully equipped kitchens, in-suite washers and dryers, and multiple bedrooms for larger groups.

No matter which accommodation you choose, expect modern comforts like flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and well-designed bathrooms. The resort places a strong emphasis on your comfort, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

If you’re a family that enjoys spending time by the pool, consider a suite located conveniently near one of the lagoon-style pools. This provides easy access to the water slides, lazy rivers, and other poolside entertainment.

However, if you prefer a more tranquil experience, accommodations away from the pool areas offer a peaceful atmosphere. You can also select accommodations near your favorite restaurant or poolside bar for added convenience.

By the lagoon-style pools, you’ll find poolside bars including Treasure Bar and Hurricane Hut serving refreshing beverages and light snacks. It’s the perfect place to unwind, soak up the sun, and enjoy your favorite tropical drink. the PPC Pooolside Pizza Company is open daily from 11- 10pm.
