Disney World is a family favorite, and when planning your magical trip to Disney Springs, where you stay matters. Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is ideal for those looking for a hotel which is great for families and close to Disney Springs and Disney World.

Just moments ie walking distance from Disney Springs, it offers top-notch accommodations, dining, and fun activities – the lazy river wad a hit for us.

Here is all the information for when our family of four stayed here! (Note, we paid for this) We opted for this hotel due to the layout out of the beds: the kids’ sleep better with their own bed, and because of the lazy river. Staying at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace also gave us 30 minutes early entry to any of the 4 Disney Theme Parks every day!

Amenities for Families at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace

The resort offers comfortable guest rooms and suites, suitable for families of up to 5 or 6.

When it’s time to relax, the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace boasts a delightful lazy river called Float Lagoon. This was one of the reasons we chose this hotel and tubes are provided free of charge.

The complimentary shuttle is a useful bonus if you want to cut costs to get to the Disney theme parks. It operates frequently, providing you with the flexibility to plan your theme park visits at various times throughout the day. You can also walk to Disney Springs which takes about 10 minutes.

Things to Do at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace with Kids

Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace has got your family vacation covered with a bunch of activities that my kids loved!

The lazy river in a tube was the highlight. For younger ones there is a Splash Pad is another pool area with interactive fountains and water guns. Plus, there are not one but two outdoor pools with comfy lounge chairs. All the pool are heated year round.

Inside the hotel is an arcade room and you can rent DVDs to your room.

Between arts and crafts, hairbraiding, scavenger hunts, outdoor movie nights, and dance parties, the resort has a ton of activities lined up. Please note that Disney character breakfast is temporarily suspended at the Letter Press restaurant. Be sure to check the schedule ahead of time so you can join in on the fun.

In addition to the kids’ activities, special holidays bring even more excitement. Think Easter Egg Hunts, Halloween costume contests, and other awesome festivities!

For the young adventurers, there are cool educational programs like nature walks and super interesting science experiments to entertain and educate.

And after a long day at the theme parks, gather ’round a warm campfire with your family. You can make s’mores, sing songs, and share stories.

“S’mores by the Fire Pit” is a great tip we appreciated. The resort’s got all the supplies you need (at an additional cost), from marshmallows and skewers to chocolate and graham crackers. All you have to do is head to the fire pit.

Getting to Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace

Once you land at one of Orlando’s airports, you’ll have a bunch of choices for reaching the resort. Don’t stress; I’ve got all the details to help you decide what’s best for you.

If you arrive at Orlando International Airport (MCO), you’re in luck because the resort provides complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport. All you need to do is get in touch with the resort beforehand to set it up.

If you prefer to be in the driver’s seat, you’ll find plenty of rental car options right at the airport. Just pick up your keys, enter the resort’s address (Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, 1900 Buena Vista Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830, United States) into your GPS, and you’re good to go.

There’s plenty of parking available at the resort, although you will have to pay for parking at the parks.

For those who want a hassle-free experience, you can easily book ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft. You can also hop on Lynx buses from different parts of the city to get to Disney World.

Keep an eye out for Lynx buses on Route 50 and Route 111, and once you reach your stop, the resort is just a short walk away!

Where to Stay at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace

At the resort, you can find  a room for every taste, budget, and need. Whether you’re a small Whether your family is big or small, and no matter what your budget, you’ll discover the ideal room at the resort.

There are Tower or Island Buildings – we stayed in Island with the two Queen Beds and separate sitting area. My kids fuss if they have to share so we needed 3 beds!

For those who want a comfortable, more budget-friendly option, check out the Standard Guest Rooms. You can pick a room with one king bed or two queen beds, which makes them a hit with families. The have a sofa bed, but no separate sitting area.

If you’re looking to add a touch of magic to your stay, go for the Disney Springs View rooms. They have the same layout as the standard rooms but with one fantastic extra: amazing views of Disney Springs. But the best are the EPCOT firework view rooms!

For a classic American meal, visit Letterpress, their signature dining spot. Indulge in delightful dishes like Florida Shrimp and Grits, Seared Sea Bass, and Citrus-Glazed Salmon.

It’s perfect for family dinners, and kids have their own menu to choose from.

When time is of the essence, Citrus 28 is your go-to marketplace-style eatery for a quick meal. They offer a range of delicious sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go options.

Plus, if you prefer to dine in your room, the resort provides in-room dining services.
