There are several airports to choose from in the Orlando area.
Orlando MCO – is the main airport.It’s closest to Kissimmee where the Parks are and I-drive.
Orlando Sanford – This airport is about 40 mins from Disney World
Melbourne Airport – This airport is a good 90 mins out and is closest to the Universal area. You will need to factor in additional costs of an Uber or hire car.
Tampa – Tampa is on the West Coast but an easy drive to Orlando which takes about 2 hours.
Miami – Miami is further south and a good 3 hour drive. You can also get the Brightline train if you don’t drive, making it an easy option that we have used before. Weigh up if the cost of the train still makes the flight to Miami a good deal.
