The first of the hotels near Port Canaveral with cruise parking is the County Inn & Suites. What makes the Country Inn & Suites so great—aside from its cruise parking option—is that the hotel also offers a cruise shuttle, and it is the most budget-friendly option on my list. 

Cruises can be extremely expensive, so it’s totally understandable if you want to cut back on costs wherever you can. However, despite the hotel’s low price point, Country Inn & Suites does have everything you’d need for a relaxing one or two-night stay. 

The rooms onsite are large and spacious (some even with their own separate living areas) and have microwaves, refrigerators, coffee-making facilities, flat-screen TVs, and air conditioning units available for your convenience. 

And to top it all off, the property has an outdoor pool and hot tub, free breakfast included, and it is just a 5-minute drive to the nearest beach!

Home2 Suites is a Port Canaveral cruise parking hotel that is budget-friendly and great for families with kids. All rooms are spacious, modern, and clean and come with a microwave, refrigerator and kitchen area, which is great for preparing snacks for hungry little ones.

In addition to in-room amenities, something I find extremely useful when travelling with kids is booking a hotel with breakfast. By having a breakfast buffet ready and waiting, you can get the kids fed relatively quickly before heading off to your cruise. 

And finally, the cherry on top of the cake—at least in your kid’s eyes—is the large slopped pool and fire pit area that you can make full use of during your pre-cruise stay.

Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel & Suites

One of the mid-range hotel options on the Port Canaveral Park and cruise hotels list is the Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel. 

In my opinion, the Best Western has really thought of everything. From a beach within walking distance and two outdoor pools to garden terraces, picnic areas and barbeque grills, there is plenty for families to do outside of their rooms to prevent boredom from setting in.

During the booking process, you’ll have the option of rooms with two queen beds or a large king bed, as well as the choice of ocean or courtyard views. All rooms come with cable TV, microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee machines. And quite possibly the best part, free breakfast!

What I particularly love about this hotel is that the rooms come with a bath, and if you’re a parent, then you’ll know how much easier it is to rinse your kids off in a bath at the end of the day. 

As well as its sizeable rooms, the SpringHill hotel has an outdoor pool, a hot tub, and a terrace, giving guests plenty of space to relax and unwind before heading off on their cruise.

Outside of the rooms, the Hilton has an outdoor pool that is surrounded by sun loungers, as well as beach access and an arcade which is guaranteed to be the highlight of your kid’s trip.

But, in saying that, even the standard rooms, with two queen beds, offer up more than enough space for families of four. 

After getting settled in your room, you can head down to the pool and kick back on a lounger, sip drinks from the poolside Tiki bar, or shoot some hoops on the onsite basketball court.
