3. Grove Resort and Spa Orlando

Looking for kid friendly hotels in Orlando, fl? Then this one may just meet all your requirements if you don’t mind being a little further out from the parks.

The Grove Resort Orlando is a great option for larger families and those who want lots of room facilities and space. This hotel is also one of the Orlando resorts with a lazy river and water slides.

The onsite Surfari waterpark has the all important fun lazy river and tubes, sandy beach areas, several pools, a boating lake with swan boats, modern, fully equipped apartments/condo style, an onsite restaurant, wifi.

You can choose between one, two and three bedroomed suites, which either have an ensuite or bathroom nearby.  We enjoyed our first stay here as we were located near the pools which made it one of our favorite Orlando resorts for kids. However, a second visit put us at the furthest building away, which meant a myriad of corridors to get from room to pool and car etc. So do ask for a room nearer the pools. The apartments have great facilities, including a full kitchen with washer/dryer making it easier for families.

The hotel is a little bit further out from the parks and doesn’t have a great choice in restaurants – but if you plan to have some rest days and explore more of Orlando, then it’s a good base with plenty to do on site and other restaurants are close by if you would rather not self cater.

Key Family Friendly Features at the Grove Resort and Spa

  • FlowRider Double surf simulator
  • Dual water slides, a 695 foot lazy river, kids’ activities pool and zero-entry pool.
  • Entry to Surfari Water Park is complimentary to registered guests of the resort.
