Revenge of the Mummy (48 inches)

Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping adventure at Universal Studios with the Revenge of the Mummy Ride! This indoor roller coaster will take you on a wild ride through dark and spooky passageways as you try to escape the wrath of the mummy.

Hold on tight as you reach speeds of up to 40 mph, with fireballs and scarab beetles whizzing past you. You’ll feel like you’re being pursued by warrior mummies as you race through the rails.

Just when you think you’re safe, you’ll find yourself hurtling down a pitch-black chasm with no end in sight! Will you make it out alive? Take the ride to find out!

This ride is perfect for thrill-seekers of all ages, but you must be at least 48 inches tall to ride. If your kids meet the height requirement, bring the whole family for a spine-tingling experience they’ll never forget. Just be sure to store any loose items in the free lockers outside the entrance to avoid losing them during the ride.

If you’re wondering about the best time to ride, we recommend going earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. But even if you have to wait, there are fun interactive features in the line to keep you entertained. Keep an eye out for any unexpected special effects that will transport you straight into the world of the mummy.

Families with little children who can’t ride will be glad that Universal Studios’ child swap is available for this ride. Although not the most extreme coaster out there, this ride’s darkness and special effects make for a thrilling experience worth remembering.

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts (42 inches)

Step into the Wizarding World and join Harry, Ron, and Hermione on an extraordinary adventure with Universal Studios’ Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts!

Don’t forget to bring your wands and brush up on your spells! Be sure your kids are at least 42 inches tall and accompanied by an adult if they’re under 48 inches.

While the ride may be too intense for some, it’s a perfect combination of thrills and magic for kids aged between 8 and 12. If you have younger children with you, Universal Studios offers a child swap option so everyone can enjoy the fun.

Before you board the ride, take the Gringotts Wizarding Bank tour and marvel at the animatronic goblins and crystal chandeliers. Keep an eye out for physical effects like feeling the heat of the dragon’s breath or a sprinkling of water from a spell.

To avoid longer wait times, we recommend visiting Escape from Gringotts earlier in the day. For an even more enchanting experience, ride it at night and see the stunning lights and special effects bring the queue and its surroundings to life.

To maximize your score, aim for the smaller targets, which are worth more points! Please note that the ride has a minimum height requirement of 42 inches. Children between 42 and 48 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult.

For those who want to avoid long lines, the single-rider lines and Express Passes are excellent options. The Child Swap option is also available for parents of young children who don’t meet the height requirement.

While waiting in line, kids can stay entertained with cool props and artwork that decorate the attraction’s entrance. After the ride, be sure to stop by MIB Gear, a gift shop filled with fascinating electronics and alien memorabilia.

The Men in Black Alien Attack is appropriate for children ages 8 and up, but younger kids may find it a bit scary. However, it’s worth noting that the ride is not as intense as some of the other attractions at Universal Studios.

So, if you’re looking for a thrilling experience that’s not too frightening, this ride is a great option.

Transformers 3D ride

To locate the ride, head to Production Central, but remember that your kids must be at least 40 inches tall to ride. If you want to skip long lines, opt for the Express Pass or the single-rider line.

The ride begins with you and your family finding your seats inside Evac, a Transformer who will guide you through the story. The ride features 3D projections, motion simulation, and action-packed scenes, but it’s not too scary either since there is no high-speed movement involved.

If your children are Transformers enthusiasts, they’ll be thrilled to meet their favorite characters outside the ride. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron all make appearances!

To avoid crowds, we recommend hitting the ride first thing in the morning. While you wait in line, your little Transformers fans can check out the movie artifacts and memorabilia.

For those who want to skip the lines, E.T. Adventure also offers Express Pass admission.
